In this centenary year, 100 years since women over the age of 30 were given the right to vote, it is sad but imperative that a platform celebrating women’s visions, voices and achievements has been created.

Rachel Louise Brown is a photographic artist, visiting lecturer and photo director. She graduated from the Royal College of Art, MA Photography (2011), following a Critical Certificate in Photography at the School of Visual Arts, NYC (2009) and BA Hons Photography at the London College of Communication (2008). Brown has exhibition and completed artist residencies internationally and was most recently a UK winner in the Magenta Flash Forward 2017 awards and exhibited a solo show ‘Simulations’ at the Palm Beach Photographic Centre in early 2018.
Alongside her art practice, Brown is the Photography Director of Harper’s Bazaar and Town & Country (UK editions), mentors students at the University of the Arts, London and is a visiting lecturer at Huddersfield University and Leeds Arts University.
